Downeast Hub LLC is looking for ONE (1) Part Time TEAM member that can work at least 4 hours per day Mon-Fri from 10a – 2p or 11a-3p AND possibly one (1) Saturday per month.

This is a GREAT opportuniy for a:

  • Mom or dad with kids in school.
  • Disabled Veteran looking to fill some time. (If you still have educational benefits, this would be a GREAT FIT for you.)
  • College person looking to get in on the ground floor of a logistics career.

You must be able to:

  • Process email orders for our HVAC client..
  • Pull, pack, and ship email orders for our HVAC client.
  • Receiving and store inbound packages for our HVAC client.

You must also be able to:

  • Lift and move packages up to 75lbs by yourself, aided with a dolly.
    • Move package between 76-150lbs with other team help.
  • Drive a forklift responsibly.
  • Move a pallet with a palletjack.
  • Possibly work ONE (1) Saturday a month.
  • Work a banding machine.

When the above orders are not being processed, other duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Answering phones and helping in store customers for Package Depot.
  • Receiving and processing other packages from UPS, USPS, FedEx and other carriers for Package Depot customers.
  • Helping other customers with drop off packages.
  • Learning the U-Haul system for rentals and returns.
  • Learning Old Hickory Buildings for sales.
  • Loading and unloading with the forklift -> when comfortable.
  • General cleaning of the storefront.

OPEN UNTIL FILLED

Immediate start time for the right applicant.

Once we secure our current negotiations, we will be looking for ONE (1) additional FULL TIME team member.

This FT position will require TWO (2) Saturdays per month on a rotaing schedule. This schedule provides for a Sunday-Monday off and a Saturday, Sunday, Monday (3 day weekend) off every other weekend.
